Disabling Azure AD connect

Disconnected and uninstalled Azure Active Directory Connect from the AD server, but still getting unhealthy synchronizations?
Log into portal.office.com, at the bottom, go to Admin centers, Azure AD
double click on your domain
Directory integration tab and deactivate
